Ángel Baltazar Sepúlveda Sánchez (born February 15, 1991 in Apatzingán , Michoacán ) is a Mexican football player on the position of a striker .

career

Sepúlveda began his footballing career in the 2007/08 season with the Mapaches Nueva Italia from Nueva Italia de Ruiz , the capital of the Municipio Múgica in the state of Michoacán , who play in the fourth-rate Tercera División . At the end of the same season Sepúlveda rose with the Mapaches (German raccoons ) in the third-class Segunda División , in which the team, however, only participated until the beginning of October 2008. Then came that away game, which was canceled at short notice, on a farm team from Club America , when Mexican special forces arrested club boss Wenceslao "El Wuenchis" Álvarez for alleged connections to the drug cartels La Familia Michoacana and Los Zetas just before kick-off . Without a financier, the team fell apart and played no more games, so the players joined other clubs.

In this way Sepúlveda came to the Monarcas Zacapu , a farm team of the first division club Monarcas Morelia , in whose first team he came across for the first time in the Apertura 2010. From there he was occasionally loaned out to other clubs in the first and second division . Sepúlveda played for the Potros Neza , the CF Atlante and the Querétaro FC , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in the Apertura 2016 .

Sepúlveda has also been a Mexican national player since September 2016 and has so far (up to and including the end of July 2017) eight international appearances in which he scored two goals.
