Évron is a village and a former French commune with 7,124 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . It belonged to the arrondissement of Mayenne and the canton of Évron .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Évron , Châtres-la-Forêt and Saint-Christophe-du-Luat were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Évron of the same name and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Évron.
