Attractions

The Rök rune stone is near a small local church.

In the monastery of Alvastra , which today exists only as a ruin, who lived holy Birgitta some time.

From 1903 until her death in 1926, Ellen Key lived in a house she had designed on Vättern. The property, called the beach , is a popular destination.
