Øyvind Dahl (born May 12, 1951 in Oslo ) is a former Norwegian long-distance runner .

He finished 15th in the 10,000 meter run at the European Athletics Championships in Prague in 1978 . In the marathon he was ninth at the European Athletics Championships in Athens in 1982 . Over the same distance he reached 26th place at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 and 33rd place at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

In addition, Dahl was particularly successful on the half marathon distance. From 1979 to 1981 he won the City - Pier - City Loop in The Hague three times in a row and in 1984 the Great North Run .
