The Úhlavka (German Aulowa or Walkbach ), popularly called Kleinbachl at the mouth , is a right and the largest tributary of the Mže ( Mies ) in the Czech Republic .

course

The Úhlavka rises one and a half kilometers east of Přimda (Pfraumberg) near the village of Velké Dvorce (Groß Maierhöfen) at 635.3 m above sea level. M. and flows first in an easterly direction. Below the Křížový vrch ( Dreikreuzberg , 576 m) it is dammed in the ponds Velkodvorecký rybník and Peklo. After the Nový Mlýn (New Mill) it changes direction to the southeast. About Soumer (Zummern) and Stráž (Nove Mesto) the Úhlavka flows into the reservoir Dlouhý rybník. The route then leads eastwards via Bonětice (Großwonetitz) , Bonětičky (Kleinwonetitz) , Staré Sedlo (old saddle) , Kečovský Mlýn, Prostiboř (Prostibor) and Kopec (Kopetzen) . Here the river turns again in a northeasterly direction. On the further course are Tuněchody (Tinchau) , Petrův Mlýn (Peters Mill) , Kladruby (Kladrau) and Pozorka (Gibacht) . South of the town of Stříbro (Mies) the Úhlavka flows after 38 km at 361.9 m above sea level. M. in the Mže (Mies) .

The catchment area of ​​the river covers 296.8 km².

Along the Úhlavka valley, between the Petrův Mlýn and the confluence with the Mže, there are light fortifications of the Czechoslovak Wall .
