Player career

society

Hatipoğlu started club football in his hometown Elazığ in the youth of Elazığspor . In 1992 he was accepted into the professional squad of the then third division team and made the leap into the starting eleven right away. At the end of his first season in the 1994/95 season he and his team celebrated the championship of the 3rd league and thus direct promotion to the 2nd league . Promoted to the 2nd division, they qualified for the play-offs and reached the semi-finals here. In the semifinals, they were eliminated on penalties against Zeytinburnuspor and thus missed the first promotion to the top Turkish league. Hatipoğlu played a big part in this success of his team and was noticed by several first division clubs.

He moved to the first division MKE Ankaragücü for the 1996/97 season . At his new club, he immediately made the leap into the starting eleven, which he kept for the next three years and rose to become a regular player during this time. Only in his fourth season with the capital city did he lose his regular place and only came to occasional missions.

After he was no longer a regular at Ankaragücü, he moved to the second half of the 2000/01 season to his old club, the second division side Elazığspor. Through his first division experience, he immediately established himself as a leading player on his return to Elazığspor. In his second season after his return in the 2001/02 season , he and his team celebrated the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and thus the first participation in the club's history in the top Turkish league, the Süper Lig . Hatipoğlu led his team two seasons in the Süper Lig and rose with her back to the 1st Lig in summer 2004. After two seasons in the 1st Lig, he ended his active football career.
