Þórhildur Sunna Ævarsdóttir

Þórhildur Sunna Ævarsdóttir ( transcribed Thorhildur Sunna Aevarsdottir ; born May 6, 1987 in Akranes ) is an Icelandic lawyer, journalist and politician of the Icelandic pirate party Píratar , as its chairman for the period 2016-2017.

Þórhildur Sunna holds a Master of Laws from Utrecht University in international human rights and criminal law . In addition to her legal work (studies and reports for organizations and individuals), she writes as a freelance journalist for the Icelandic portals kvennabladid.is and grapevine.is .

Since the Icelandic parliamentary election on October 29, 2016 , Þórhildur Sunna has been a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing for the Southwestern constituency . She was chairwoman of the Píratar for the period 2016-2017.
