İlkin Özışık
İlkin Özışık (born February 28, 1972 in Berlin ) is a German educational and career advisor and politician (2003 to 2016 for the SPD ) and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives .
Life
Özışık was born in the West Berlin district of Moabit and was Berlin youth champion in judo . In 1989 he took on German citizenship. In 1991 he acquired the Abitur at the Anna Freud high school (OSZ social work) and then studied until 1994 Medicine and 1995-2001 Geology at the Free University of Berlin with completion geologist. From 2002 to 2006 I worked as an independent retailer. Since 2009 he has been an educational and career advisor at the Verein Arbeit und Bildung eV (AUB) - KUMULUS project for young people up to 25 years of age and supervises the Moses Mendelssohn High School in Berlin-Moabit.
Özışık is married, separated and has three children. On January 6, 2016, one day after he left the SPD, it became known in the media that the public prosecutor's office had initiated an investigation following a complaint by the mother of his three children, Asiye Özışık, about missing child support payments. The Tempelhof-Kreuzberg District Court had already imposed a fine of 300 euros on İlkin Özışık in October 2013.

In addition to his job, he began to be politically active and became a member of the SPD in 2003 and was a member of the district executive of the SPD Berlin-Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf from 2004 to 2006. From 2008 he is a member of the district executive committee of the SPD Berlin-Mitte. In the election on September 18, 2011 , he succeeded in entering the Berlin House of Representatives . He was just able to prevail as a direct candidate in his constituency of Moabit / Wedding . In the House of Representatives he was a member of the Education, Youth and Family Committee, the Civic Engagement Committee and the Committee on Digital Administration, Data Protection and Freedom of Information. At the same time he was the education policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group and since 2008 chairman of the AG Migration SPD Mitte.
On May 10, 2013, the Berlin daily BZ addressed the visit to a Koran reading by Millî Görüş with 3000 visitors in the Berlin Tempodrom by Özcan Mutlu and İlkin Özışık. The authors Lukas Hermsmeier and Lars Petersen quote Özışık: "I think Millî Görüş in Germany is unproblematic," said Özisik. He is more often in a mosque in Millî Görüş. "I have never seen anti-democratic acts there."
He was not taken into account in the list of candidates for the Berlin-Mitte SPD for the 2016 parliamentary elections . On January 5, 2016, his resignation from the SPD and the SPD parliamentary group became known in the Berlin House of Representatives.
Memberships
İlkin Özışık has been honorary chairman of the Turkish Social Democrats in Berlin eV since 2005 and was a representative of the Turkish migrant community in the Berlin Senate's advisory board for integration and migration issues from 2005 to 2007. He is a board member of VAK-Kindertagesstätten eV, a member of the network of owner-managed day-care centers and as a member supports the Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO).
