The Ľadový štít (German Ice Valley Peak ) is the fourth highest mountain in the High Tatras and Slovakia . It is 2627  m nm high.

The mighty peak is reached by the Malý Ľadový štít ( 2611  m nm and 2608  m nm ; German Markasitturm ) in the southwest through the Schadová štrbina gap and from the Zadný Ľadový štít ( 2507  m nm ; German Eistaler shoulder ) in the northeast through the Sattelbaadová priehy saddle (German: Eistaler Hochjoch) separated. The relatively long mountain ridge Suchý hrebeň (German: Dürrer Grat) stretches to the west into the Javorová dolina (German: Ahorntal).

The first known ascent was made in the summer of 1843 by the Irishman John Ball and Wilhelm Richter, accompanied by local mountain guides. Theodor Wundt and his guide Jakob Horvay made the first winter ascent on December 28, 1891 over the eastern ridge Kôň (German: Ross).

From Starý Smokovec , a green hiking trail leads through the Malá studená dolina (German: Small Kohlbachtal), past the mountain huts Zamkovského chata (formerly Nalepková chata) and Téryho chata ( 2015  m nm ) to the foot of the Eistalerspitze.
