action
A ranch owner frees Spirito Santo from prison and hires him to rob a gold transport by train. Spirito Santo then engages some people and carries out the raid, killing Consuelo, the rancher's daughter and loved by Spirito Santo. The rancher makes Spirito Santo violent allegations and attacks him, whereupon the latter has to kill him.
An Indian sheriff, who turns out to be Consuelo's brother, arrests Spirito Santo, of whose guilt he is convinced. Spirito Santo could kill the sheriff several times, but prefers to investigate the murder with him.
criticism
The Segnalazioni Cinematografiche are clearly negative : “Consists exclusively of Western clichés that are also presented listlessly.” Genre connoisseur Christian Keßler , on the other hand, says: “The script is fluid and entertaining, even has some really good ideas in its hand luggage. [...] With an exciting finale and a sad outcome. "
Remarks
In France, the title character was renamed "Sacramento".
