The Ꝗ (lower case ꝗ) is a letter of the Latin writing system . It consists of a Q with a line drawn through its trunk.
Often found in medieval texts, ꝗ was used to abbreviate common Latin words like qui .
The Ꝗ was used in the Latin-based Abkhaz alphabet from 1928 to 1937 and represented the voiced postalveolar affricate / d͡ʒ /. In today's Cyrillic Abkhaz alphabet, this sound is represented by the digraph џь.
