The (lower case ɥ) is a letter of the Latin writing system . The lower case letter consists of a rotated h, the upper case letter, however, was created from the lower case letter, since the upper case H is point-symmetrical.

The lowercase letter ɥ represents the voiced labiopalatal approximant in the international phonetic alphabet . The uppercase letter is used for the same sound in some African languages ​​such as Dan .
