(10030) Philkeenan is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 30 August 1981 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station ( IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.
The asteroid was named on July 5, 2001 after the American astronomer and employee of the Perkins Observatory Philip C. Keenan (1908-2000), who together with William Wilson Morgan developed the MK system in spectral classification named after them .
