Everton , with full name Francisco Everton de Almeida Andrade (born August 8, 1984 in Maranguape ), is a Brazilian football player .

Career

General

Everton grew up in the youth team at Maranguape FC, where he was trained as a midfielder. At the beginning of his career he switched frequently between lower class clubs until he came to Gremio Barueri in 2007. Here he was involved in the club's ascent to the Série A of the Brazilian championship at the end of 2008 . After showing good performances here in the season, he received an offer from Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro and moved in early 2010.

At the request of coach Cuca , Everton was announced on July 18, 2010 as a new reinforcement for the Cruzeiro EC from Belo Horizonte . The player signed a contract until the end of 2013 and the club acquired 75 percent of his transfer rights . As a versatile player, he developed into a key player for the then coach Celso Roth . This was a reason for the club to extend its contract until the end of 2014. On November 11, 2012, Everton wore the Cruzeiro jersey for the 100th time. In Cruzeiros championship season 2013 he came under the new coach Marcelo Oliveira only to four missions.

On January 15, 2014, a possible move to Figueirense FC was announced. But the contract presented by Cruzeiro was not accepted in all points and the player was then loaned to Criciúma until the end of 2014.

For the 2015 season, Everton moved to Fortaleza EC . With the club he won the Ceará State Championship twice. On December 27, 2016 it was announced that Figueirense FC signed Everton for the 2017 season. After further intermediate stations Everton came in August 2018 Red Bull Brasil to deal with this in the State of Sao Paulo Cup to compete. After the end of the 2019 national championship in April, the CA Bragantino was taken over by Red Bull . The teams of both clubs were merged. Everton's contract in this regard was terminated. For the championship round he came under contract with Santa Cruz FC .

Shortly after the championship ended, Everton's new contract with CA Votuporanguense to host the 2020 state championship was announced.
