(11064) Doge is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 30 November 1991 by the Japanese amateur astronomers Masaru Mukai and Masanori Takeishi at the observatory in Kagoshima was discovered.
He was named on 6 January 2003 by Dogen , a teacher of Japanese Zen - Buddhism , the Chan -Schule with the ritual and collectively practiced sitting meditation zazen transferred from China to Japan.
