(13064) Haemhouts is an asteroid of the main belt , the August 6, 1991 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code 809) of the European Southern Observatory in Chile was discovered.
The asteroid was named on December 2, 2009 after the Belgian musician and composer Ben Haemhouts (* 1972), who studied orchestral conducting with the Russian conductor Alexander Polyanichko and is currently the director of the Belgian Chamber Philharmonic.
