(1366) Piccolo is an asteroid of the main belt discovered on November 29, 1932 by the Belgian astronomer Eugène Joseph Delporte in Ukkel .

The name of the asteroid is derived from the Italian word for "small". This was a pseudonym of Auguste Cauvin , editor-in-chief of the Belgian newspaper Le Soir .
