(1739) Meyermann is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on August 15, 1939 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .

The asteroid was named after the astronomer Bruno Meyermann .
