(1800) Aguilar is an asteroid of the main belt , which is located between Mars and Jupiter. It was discovered on September 12, 1950 by the Argentine astronomer Miguel Itzigsohn in La Plata .

designation

The asteroid was named after the Argentine astronomer Félix Aguilar (1884–1943).
