(1807) Slovakia is an asteroid of the main belt discovered on August 20, 1971 by the Slovak astronomer Milan Antal at the Skalnaté Pleso observatory ( IAU code 056) in Slovakia .
The asteroid is named after Slovakia, the explorer's homeland.
