(236) Honoria is an asteroid of the main asteroid belt discovered by Johann Palisa on April 26, 1884 .

The celestial body was named after Justa Grata Honoria , the granddaughter of the Eastern Roman emperor Theodosius , who had started negotiations with the Hun king Attila .

Honoria moves a distance of 2.2679 ( perihelion ) to 3.3301 ( aphelion ) astronomical units in 4.6829 years around the sun . The orbit is inclined 7.6942 ° to the ecliptic , the orbital eccentricity is 0.1898.
