(2362) Mark Twain is an asteroid of the main belt , that of the Soviet astronomer Nikolai Chernykh on 24 September 1976 at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code was discovered 095).
The asteroid was named after the American writer Mark Twain (1835-1910), whose best known works are the books about the adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn .
