(26087) Zhuravleva is an asteroid of the main belt discovered on October 21, 1982 by the Ukrainian astronomer Lyudmila Georgievna Karachkina at the branch of the Crimean Observatory ( IAU code 095) in Nautschnyj .
The asteroid was named on August 31, 2012 after the Ukrainian astronomer Lyudmyla Shuravlowa (* 1946), who discovered more than 200 asteroids while working at the Crimean Observatory.
