(30827) Lautenschläger is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 10, 1990 by the German astronomers Lutz D. Schmadel and Freimut Börngen at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg ( IAU code 033) in Thuringia .

The asteroid was named after the German entrepreneur and patron Manfred Lautenschläger (* 1938), who with his Manfred Lautenschläger Foundation supports numerous projects such as the construction of the Heidelberg children's clinic.
