(3093) Bergholz is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on June 28, 1971 by the Soviet astronomer Tamara Mikhailovna Smirnova at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code 095) in the Ukraine .

The asteroid was named after the Russian writer Olga Fjodorovna Bergholz (1910–1975), who gave encouragement to those trapped by radio speeches during the Leningrad blockade in World War II . These transmissions were combined into a volume in 1946 Goworit Leningrad (Here speaks Leningrad).
