(3388) Tsanghinshi is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 21 December 1981 from Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing was discovered.
The asteroid was named after a Chinese industrialist, Tsanghinchi, who headed the Life Science College at Sun Yat-sen University in Guandong . It was named on November 29, 1993.
