(342843) Davidbowie is an asteroid in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter . It was named on January 25, 2015 after the English singer David Bowie . For one revolution of the sun (342843) Davidbowie takes 4.5 years. The major semi-axis of the orbit is 2.7 AU. He was discovered by the German astronomer Felix Hormuth (* 1975) working at the Spanish Calar Alto Observatory .
