(3712) force is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 22 December 1984 of US astronomers Arnold R. Klemola at Lick Observatory ( Observatories Code 662) on the summit of Mount Hamilton , near the town of San Jose in California discovered has been.
The asteroid was named after the American astronomer Robert Paul Kraft (1927-2015), who headed the Lick Observatory from 1981 to 1991.
