(3780) Maury is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 14 September 1985 by the American astronomer Edward LG Bowell at the Anderson Mesa Station (IAU code 688) of the Lowell Observatory in Coconino County was discovered.

The asteroid was named after the French astronomer Alain Maury , who runs his own observatory near San Pedro de Atacama in northern Chile.
