(4516) Pugovkin is an asteroid of the main belt , which was discovered on September 28, 1973 by the Russian astronomer Nikolai Stepanowitsch Tschernych at the Crimean Observatory in Nautschnyj ( IAU code 095).

The asteroid was named after the Russian actor Mikhail Ivanovich Pugovkin (1923-2008).
