(4969) Lawrence is an asteroid of the main belt , which from the October 4, 1986 American US astronomer Eleanor Helin at Palomar Observatory ( IAU code was discovered 675).
The asteroid was named after the American astronomer Kenneth J. Lawrence named (* 1964), of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA operates.
