(8096) Emilezola is an asteroid of the main belt , which on 20 July 1993 by the Belgian astronomer Eric Walter Elst at the La Silla Observatory ( IAU code of 809) European Southern Observatory was discovered.

The celestial body is named after the French writer and journalist Émile Zola (1840–1902).
