history

Radio FDZ 103.3 (2006-2010)

On July 27, 2006, the predecessor of 103.3 - your local radio , Radio FDZ 103.3 , was still operated by Radio FDZ GmbH at the time. At the beginning, the managing director Bärbel Schumann led the station and the program manager Axel Dolata the program. In 2008 Marcus Hoffmann took over the management. The studio was located at Waldstrasse 12 in Prerow . Radio FDZ was broadcast via a transmitter in Ahrenshoop on the FM frequency 103.3 MHz, and from 2008 via an Internet live stream.

The focus of the program was mainly on event tips and local information about Fischland-Darß-Zingst and the southern Bodden coast, rounded off with music from the 50s to the latest hits. The claim at the time was: “Radio FDZ 103.3 - with you on vacation”. From this one can deduce that Radio FDZ was designed as a holiday radio and that the holidaymakers should be provided with information and tips about the region. A special feature were the stories about Esther, the little pipefish , intended for children , which had been part of the program since April 2007 and were written and spoken by the author Nicole Bernard .

At the beginning of April 2010, Radio FDZ 103.3 discontinued its program, and Radio FDZ GmbH then went bankrupt.

103.3 - Your local radio (2010-2014)

Under the name 103.3 - Ihr Lokalradio , managing director Marcus Hoffmann resumed broadcasting on June 14, 2010 via the well-known Ahrenshoop 103.3 MHz VHF frequency and an Internet live stream under the newly founded "ELVG European Local Radio Management Company mbH" based in Kühlungsborn . Test programs were broadcast via this from May 15, 2010 until the start of broadcasting. Incidentally, the start of broadcasting had to be postponed again and again because a new line from Telekom from the new studio in Wieck a. Darß had to wait for the VHF transmitter in Ahrenshoop.

As with the previous station, the main components of the program were regional information, interesting facts from the broadcasting area and event tips, embedded in a cross-target music program, which ranged from evergreens of the 60s and 70s to cult hits of the 80s and 90s to more recent titles. On the hour between 07:00 and 20:00 there was news from Germany and the world as well as the local weather. During this time, except on Sundays, regional news for Fischland, Darß, Zingst and the southern Bodden coast were broadcast every half hour. A detailed weather talk with weather expert Thomas Daniels could be heard on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:15 am, 12:15 pm and 3:15 pm. Sunday to Friday from 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 p.m., an unmoderated music series ran without news and service contributions. Every Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the top 30 of the weekly airplay charts were presented in the "Hit Barometer" moderated by Dieter Endres . It was also advertising aired for the transmission area.

From June 2010 to June 2011 the program "Kinderzeit" ran daily at 7:08 pm with stories from Esther, the little pipefish, and on Sundays from 7:00 am to 8:00 am the Christian talk program "Spurensucher", for the design of the author Nicole Bernard was in charge.

The station ceased broadcasting on November 30, 2014. Radio Paradiso Nord broadcasted on frequency 103.3 on FDZ until the end of September 2018. The hit station radio B2 has been broadcasting its regional program for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on this frequency since May 27, 2019 .
