10 Fold B-Low was a German metal band from the greater Cologne area .

The band was assigned to the hardcore punk , nu metal and death metal . The band name means "ten times below", which is due, among other things, to the fact that the band used seven-string guitars, which made them sound much deeper than music groups tuned to E.

history

The band was founded in 2001. Only a few months later the first demo CD was recorded and they began to play in small clubs in the Cologne area. In 2003 a line-up change of bass and drums followed. Only a few months later, the Spanish record company Locomotiverecords noticed the band and signed the band. In the spring of 2004 the band released their first album entitled Low Tuned Output across Europe, followed by the release in the USA in the summer under the distribution of Al! Ve. The band played numerous concerts in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium with bands like Ektomorf , Hatesphere , Maroon and Cataract . In spring 2005 they went back to the studio to record the follow-up to their debut album, which was released worldwide in summer 2005. 10 Fold B-Low was u. a. exclusively sponsored by companies such as Eastpak , Fame Guitars and Paiste .

In May 2005 10 Fold B-Low played as a support act on the European tour (including Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium) of the band Overkill . The highlight of their musical career, however, was their appearance in front of several thousand spectators at the Rock Republic Festival in Turkey in the summer of 2005, which they played with greats such as Slayer , In Flames and Sick of It All .

Drummer Panicz split up after musical and personal differences in September 2005 from the band, which was finally disbanded by the remaining band members only a few months later.

In the meantime, the two guitarists Roth and Meurer founded the screamo band Angels and Enemies , singer Fischer was with the nu-metal band Trick or Treat and drummer Panicz joined the metalcore band Matter of Habit.
