The 12th arrondissement is an arrondissement (municipality) of the city of Marseille in the south of France . In 2008 58,775 people lived here.
The arrondissement is located in the east of the urban area. In the north it borders on the 13th arrondissement , in the east on Allauch , in the south on the 10th and 11th and in the west on the 4th and 5th arrondissement .
