The 11th arrondissement is an arrondissement (borough) in the city of Marseille in the south of France . In 2008 57,183 people lived here.
The arrondissement is located in the east of the urban area. In the north it borders on the 12th arrondissement , in the east on Allauch , La Penne-sur-Huveaune and Aubagne , in the south on the 9th and in the west on the 10th arrondissement .
