The 13th arrondissement is an arrondissement (borough) in the city of Marseille in the south of France . In 2008, 89,014 people lived here.
The arrondissement is located in the northeast of the urban area. In the north it borders on Septèmes-les-Vallons and Simiane-Collongue , in the east on Plan-de-Cuques and Allauch , in the south on the 3rd (point of contact), 4th and 12th and in the west on the 14th arrondissement .
