1 Night in Paris (alternate titles: One Night in Paris , First Night in Paris, and Paris Hilton Sex Tape ) is an amateur video that was professionally distributed after its release in 2004 due to the actress' fame. The film shows Paris Hilton with her former boyfriend Rick Salomon during sexual intercourse and mutual oral sex . The film was shot in a room at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas . In the meantime it has developed into one of the most famous pornographic films, probably due to the fame of Paris Hilton and her family, and in 2006 it was also broadcast on German television in the erotic program of Premiere .

The partially with a static Hi8 - Handycam filmed amateur video was shot reportedly in 2003, according to Rick Solomon separation of Paris Hilton by himself in the Internet published and downloading available. Due to the huge media coverage that followed, Rick Salomon decided to release the video on DVD under the name 1 Night in Paris . While some of the recordings on the Internet had a strong green cast, as a large part of the production was recorded in a darkened room, this was filtered out for the DVD and thus obtained relatively good black-and-white images.

Paris Hilton and her family tried unsuccessfully to take legal action against the distribution on the Internet and against the sale of the DVD. Paris Hilton later sued Rick Salomon for damages for the release of the DVD and was awarded $ 400,000 in compensation and a share of the proceeds. Paris Hilton also benefited from the press around the matter, with her popularity skyrocketing and the ratings for her reality soap The Simple Life soaring. Paris Hilton hit the headlines again in connection with the film in 2005 when she was annoyed and rioted about its sale and promotion in a West Hollywood store and stole a DVD of the film.

Some scenes in the movie, such as the scene in which Paris Hilton got out of bed during the act to get her ringing cellphone, became popular parodies.
