Richard "Rick" Allan Salomon (born January 24, 1968 in Neptune Township , New Jersey ) is an American poker player and actor . He gained fame primarily through his relationships with Elizabeth Daily , Shannen Doherty and Pamela Anderson as well as through the sextape 1 Night in Paris , which shows him together with Paris Hilton .

Life

Relationships and marriages

Salomon married the singer Elizabeth Daily in 1995 , with whom he has two daughters (* 1996; * 1998). The marriage ended in divorce in 2000. In 2002 he was married to actress Shannen Doherty for nine months . In 2003, after separating from Paris Hilton , Salomon published the sextape 1 Night in Paris on the Internet, which shows him having sexual intercourse and mutual oral intercourse with Hilton. Following a lawsuit for damages, he had to pay Hilton compensation of $ 400,000 and a share of the proceeds. In early October 2007, Pamela Anderson and Salomon married in Las Vegas and the marriage lasted until the end of March 2008. They were remarried in January 2014, but Anderson filed for divorce only six months later. Salomon lives in Hollywood .

Poker career

Salomon has occasionally taken part in renowned live tournaments since 2005 .

At the end of July 2006, Salomon won a tournament at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas with a prize of around 125,000 US dollars . At the beginning of August 2006 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino and finished 196th in the main event out of 8,773 players for a prize money of over 40,000 dollars. In mid-July 2010, Salomon managed to cash in at the World Poker Tour Main Event , finishing the tournament in ninth place for around $ 50,000. In June 2012 he took part in the Big One for One Drop initiated by Guy Laliberté , the most expensive poker tournament in the world with a buy-in of one million dollars , the WSOP, but could not place in the money. Also in 2014 he played the event and finished fourth for a prize money of 2.8 million dollars. In mid-October 2016 Salomon was invited by Laliberté to the Big One for One Drop Extravaganza , an exclusive poker tournament in Monte-Carlo with a buy-in of one million euros . There Salomon again reached the final table and received his highest prize money of three million euros for his third place. At the 2018 WSOP , he played the Big One for One Drop again and finished fourth for almost three million dollars in prize money. At the beginning of November 2018, Salomon finished second behind David Peters in a $ 100,000 tournament at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas and secured prize money of $ 673,000.

In total, Salomon has earned almost ten million dollars with poker in live tournaments.

Salomon played small roles in the films In My Sister 's Life , Who's Your Caddy? and Alpha Dog - Deadly Friendships .
