Ascent

From the regional league rose: Club zur Vahr (north), HCLG Leipzig (east), HC Ludwigsburg (south), Düsseldorfer SC (west). Since the 2003/04 season, second teams from a club have also been allowed to play in the indoor regional leagues north and west. However, these could not be promoted to the national leagues. For the first time this season, it was not the champions, but the third of the Regionalliga Nord that rose to the North group.
