The indoor season started on November 21, 2015 and ended on January 31, 2016.

With HC Ludwigsburg and SC Charlottenburg , two teams managed to get back up straight away. With DHC Hanover and DSD Düsseldorf there were two teams that were relegated to the regional league without any points.
