The indoor season started on November 23, 2013 and ended on February 2, 2014.

Klipper THC made it through as promoted to the 1st Bundesliga, Schwarz-Weiß Neuss made it straight back to promotion .

The Cöthener HC 02 slipped straight through to the regional league.

No promoted team had to go straight back to the regional league.

The champions of the regional leagues north, east, south and west are promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga. If this is a second team, the right of promotion goes to the next team.

The promoters for the 2014/15 season are: Club zur Vahr (North, as second place, as HTHC 2 was not allowed to move up), ATV Leipzig 1845 (East), DSD Düsseldorf (West, as second place, because RW Köln 2 was not allowed to move up) and TB Erlangen (south)
