    • The Roman Emperor Augustus concludes a peace treaty with the Parthian Empire , in which both sides recognize the Euphrates as the border between the two empires. The Roman legionary eagles ( Aquilae ) captured by the Parthians in the battle of Carrhae will also be returned . Numerous prisoners of war are exchanged between the two sides. Among other things, the son of the Parthian ruler Phraates IV , who is held hostage, is returning to his homeland.
