48/49 is the Beatsteaks' first studio album .
history
In June 2007 a limited edition of 1000 copies was released on XNO Records (Alive). This edition contains the bonus song Sun Undone , which on the demo tape Beatsteaks, the first ... is included. Following Disillusion also follows a hidden track , Beatsteaks , who, like Sun Undone also on the tape Beatsteaks, the first ... is included. The first edition of the album appeared in a digipack .
Album title
The title 48/49 (also forty-eight forty-nine ) comes from the house number of her rehearsal room at Alten Schönhauser Strasse 48/49 in Berlin. It is the name of the album, the name of a track and, due to a hidden track, also the playing time of the CD.
