Aïssata Soulama

Aïssata Soulama (born February 11, 1979 in Burkina Faso ) is a former Burkinabe athlete who specialized in the 400-meter hurdles .

At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she only just barely qualified for the second round over the 400 meter hurdles, she was the slowest runner of all those who qualified with 56.37 seconds. In the semifinals she reached 55.69 seconds, which she came very close to her best performance of 55.49 seconds from 2007.
