The ABU TV Song Festival 2017 is the sixth edition of the annual ABU TV Song Festival . The festival, which is not a competition, took place on November 1st, 2017 in the Chinese city of Chengdu and coincided with the 54th General Assembly of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), which was held on that day.

On January 1, 2017, Chengdu was announced as the venue by the ABU. China hosted the festival for the first time.

As a member of ABU, Sichuan Radio and Television (SRT) organizes the 6th ABU TV Song Festival.
Attendees
The maximum number of participants in the festival is 15 countries. A total of 14 countries took part, including Zambia and Turkmenistan for the first time.
