ADAC Formula Masters 2012

The ADAC Formula Masters 2012 was the fifth season of the ADAC Formula Masters . There were eight race weekends with three races each. The season started on March 31st in Oschersleben and ended on September 30th in Hockenheim . Marvin Kirchhöfer won the championship.

Felix Wieland was the youngest driver when he made his debut at the age of 15. Antti Buri was the oldest at 23 years old.

Racing calendar

Except for the first race weekend at the Nürburgring , all events took place as part of the ADAC Masters Weekend . At the first event at the Nürburgring, the ADAC Formula Masters drove as part of the ADAC Truck Grand Prix.

Rating

Point system

In the first two races of a racing weekend, the points are distributed according to the Formula 1 point system: 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1. In the third race the first ten drivers receive championship points according to a different point system: 15-10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
