Carol and the Christmas spirit is a fantasy film directed by Matthew Irmas from 2003 is based the plot of the film on the published 1843 story A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens , transports them to the present time and changes the main character in a successful, rich presenter.

Carol Cummings is a beautiful, successful, and wealthy television host, but at the same time she exploits and exploits her staff. All she cares about is money and success, and she harasses everyone she works with. Especially her assistant, Roberta Timmons, a single mother who is afraid of losing her job. Cummings is planning a Christmas TV special, which should run in absolute perfection. During the preparations she falls asleep and is visited by the ghost of her aunt Marla, who in her day was an even more unbearable diva than Carol. Marla warns her and admonishes her to change, otherwise she faces eternal damnation. She announces the visit of three Christmas spirits, these are the spirits of the past, present and future Christmas. They show Carol her life in order to get her to change her behavior.
