The Aalbek is an eastern tributary of the Stör in Schleswig-Holstein .

course

The river has a length of about 13 km. It is formed from the confluence of several meadow ditches 1 km northwest of Margarethenschanze at Aalberg in the municipality of Loop . It then flows south as the municipality boundary to Ellhorn and there absorbs water from the Einfelder See , and turns first east, then west, parallel to federal motorway 7 towards south, flows through the town of Wasbek and flows south of Ehndorf into the Stör.

Trivia

The artificially created Silver Lake , which is located directly on the A7 , was temporarily traversed by the Aalbek.

The Aalbek West service station of the same name is located on the Autobahn near Neumünster .
