Sayed Abdollah Mojtabavi ( Persian عبدالله مجتبوی, * January 4, 1925 in Tehran ; † January 13, 2012 ) was an Iranian wrestler .
life and career
Abdollah Mojtabavi competed in freestyle and won silver in the weight class up to 67 kg at the European Championships in Istanbul in 1949 . At the Wrestling World Championships in 1951 he won bronze in the welterweight division up to 73 kg. In the same weight class, he won the bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki behind Per Berlin ( Sweden ) and Bill Smith ( USA ).
Abdollah Mojtabavi died on January 13, 2012 at the age of 87.
